The war in the mountains on the Italian front

The mountain war on the Italian front was fought almost exclusively on the Trentino front and, in particular, on Adamello and Pasubio.

Animals, like men, are heroic.

In reality, they were heroic exercises that produced little in the field of tactics or strategy.

more than a war - albeit bloody - there was the writing of stories, of legend, and the reality of incredible and touching human events.

When the war was fought, Trentino chose the way of the plateaus, not that of the mountains.
